Confliction

So, I believe it has begun happening.

Up until this very day, I foolishly believed the famous Churchill quote "Any 20 year-old who isn't a liberal doesn't have a heart, and any 40 year-old who isn't a conservative doesn't have a brain." did not apply to myself.

"Screw those old geezers who vote against school referrendums, that'll never be me!", is totally a direct thought quote of myself. You can imagine me saying it outloud, atop a gigantic clock tower to the very ether of time if you like though.

Old Man Bresin's House

First, let me credit the picture. It's from an excellent Something Awful article from a few weeks ago.

So this was my Wife and I's first halloween as the candy givers. We bought candy every year, but never really got to give any since we were always renting. Kids, for some reason, don't generally hit the medium density housing places, for some reason. I know I woulda.

We got a fair number of trick-or-treaters. I'd have to say about 30 or so.

They were mostly large groups of 4-7 year olds, or pairs of teenagers bordering on the convential "too old" age. (more)
