Once upon a time, in July of 1996, there lived a boy named Kyle.
Kyle was fresh out of High School, and it showed.
His primary motivation was muddled, but definitely included something about many people paying attention to him and, if at all possible, cooing over how generally clever he was.
And it most certainly included gaining the affections of a certain girl.
Sadly, one of the things High School failed to teach was anything about how to go abut such things, in a non-creepy fashion.
Much of what he understood about the courtship process was derived from insipid romantic comedies. Where tenacity and pluckiness were the only tools necessary to secure a life long partner. (more)
